Privacy Policy

TruckLogic is a free software service run by an individual based in Ukraine; TruckLogic is the project name, not a registered legal entity. The service is intended primarily for professional users and companies from Ukraine working with freight transportation in the United States. Users in other countries may also use it. The geography of transportation does not determine users’ location or the law applicable to personal information processing.

This policy describes personal information handled through the TruckLogic website, accounts and company workspaces. The service provides company and driver management, maps and ZIP search, and tools for preparing messages with templates and smart copy.

Information may come from you, an authorized company member or a service you choose to use for sign-in. A company that enters information about employees, drivers or other contacts is responsible for having a lawful reason to do so and informing those people. This policy does not replace that company's own privacy notices. Visiting the website does not by itself constitute consent to every kind of processing.

• Accounts: name, email, password in hashed form and phone number where supplied. Google sign-in can provide your Google identifier, name, email and profile image.
• Company workspaces: company name, contact and registration details, including MC or DOT identifiers where entered, memberships, invitations, roles and permissions.
• Driver records: names, contact details, truck and equipment information, availability, ZIP or location coordinates, home location, notes and other details entered by authorized users.
• Work activity: saved settings and templates, company search history and associated user identifiers.
• Support: the sender's name, email, subject, message and information included in a request.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, session identifiers and information generated when pages or connected services are accessed.

Only enter information needed for the task. Location in a driver record may be entered or updated by a company user; displaying it on a map does not establish that it is a live GPS position.

Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, manage company membership and permissions, show and update driver records, perform ZIP and radius searches, maintain search history, and provide templates and smart copy.

We use contact information to handle invitations, account messages and support requests. Technical information helps maintain sessions, investigate errors and protect access. The website also includes Google Ads technology for advertising measurement, as explained below. Submitting a support request does not in itself subscribe you to marketing messages.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing must rely on the basis appropriate to its purpose: providing the service you request, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as account security where permitted, or consent where required.

Company membership is not blanket consent to any use of employee or driver information. The relevant company must establish its own basis for the information it adds and the access it grants. When processing relies on consent, it can be withdrawn for the future without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

TruckLogic uses cookies for authentication and browser storage for preferences such as language and for session or tab identifiers. The company workspace also uses browser characteristics to help identify sessions and protect access. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in or disrupt workspace features.

The public website includes a Google Ads tag. When it loads, Google may receive the visited page address, IP address, browser information and cookie or similar identifiers for advertising measurement and other purposes described in Google's privacy notices. External fonts can also cause the browser to contact Google. These requests are separate from company records.

You can manage stored cookies in your browser and advertising preferences in your Google account. These settings may not stop every network request. Where consent is legally required for optional technologies, visiting this page or accepting the Terms is not a substitute for that consent.

Account and workspace information is visible to company members according to their roles and permissions. Joining a company makes relevant profile and work information available within that workspace. Administrators manage membership and access; access to a company does not authorize use of its information for unrelated purposes.

Service providers involved in hosting, email delivery, authentication and mapping may process information needed for their functions. Maps use Mapbox; Google is involved when you use Google sign-in and when its website resources load. Providers have their own privacy notices. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to address abuse and protect rights, subject to applicable law.

Providers may process information in different countries. Any applicable requirements for international data transfers remain relevant; contact us for information about a specific processing activity.

Passwords are stored in hashed form, and account sessions and company permissions control access to protected features. Security also depends on how accounts and company access are managed.

Use a unique password, keep sign-in details private and review workspace permissions. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention depends on the type of record, the purpose of processing, company workspace needs, security investigations and applicable legal requirements. Ending company membership, hiding a record or stopping use of TruckLogic does not necessarily erase the underlying information.

Requests concerning account or driver data can be sent to support. We assess which information can be deleted, restricted or must be retained, including records affecting other company members or legal obligations. Contact us for details about how long a particular record is retained.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing and complain to the competent data protection authority.

Write to support@truck-logic.net and describe the information or request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or authority to act. For company-managed records, we may need to involve that company. Rights and response deadlines depend on applicable law; another person's rights or a legal retention requirement may affect the outcome.

We may revise this policy when service functions, processing practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way where required by applicable law.

New functionality may require additional information before you use it. A published policy update does not automatically create consent for a new purpose that legally requires your choice.
